Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan had hurt his knee, while shooting for some action sequences in Dhoom 2 and Krish. and so as to heal the hurt, the actor is flying to Singapore for treatment.
Roshan told The Times of India newspaper he had pushed himself too hard for action scenes while filming the hit movies “Krrish'’ and “Dhoom 2,'’ and tore a ligament in his right knee.
“I basically succumbed to the notion that we’re all heroes and pain doesn’t matter,'’ said Roshan, describing how he had to strap his knee to complete shots. “I understand now how foolish I have been.'’
Not many know that the actor had been neglecting treatment so far, in spite of his doctor and physiotherapist’s instructions!
He said that he found it very difficult to follow doctors’ advice to rest.
“I have to force myself to rest. It’s the hardest thing for me to do,'’ said Roshan. “Resting is against my personality.'’
Finally though, Hrithik has given-in to their advice and the actor is off to Singapore for 6 weeks of rigorous recuperation.
He says “While working towards fulfilling my commitments to all my work, ads and film, I did not much care about my knee pain & have neglected my doctor’s advice to not put any stress on it and take complete rest if I wanted it to heal.”
His situation has gone from bad to worse now, the pain in his knee has become excruciating, and the actor has no choice but to yield to his doctor’s advice.
“I am giving my health a prior importance now, so that none of my further commitments suffer in the near future “, adds the star known for his perfectionism.

Welcome is an upcoming 2007 Bollywood film, directed by Anees Bazmee of No Entry (2005) fame. The film stars Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Malika Sherawat.
Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar), Majnu (Anil Kapoor) and their boss, Sikander (Feroz Khan), three Hong Kong-based serio-comic mobsters, are keen to get their sister Sanjana (Katrina Kaif) married into a respectable family.
Uday, upon a chance meeting with a handsome bachelor, Rajiv (Akshay Kumar), is convinced that the latter would be an appropriate match for Sanjana. However, Rajiv’s uncle, Dr. Ghunghroo (Paresh Rawal) does not approve of his nephew’s association with a dubious family.
Meanwhile, Sanjana, unaware of her brother’ contrivances, meets Rajiv on a cruise and the two fall in love. She has the acceptance of Dr. Ghunghroo, who doesn’t realize that she is the sister of the Mafia.
When Dr. Ghunghroo realizes his faux pas he tries escaping the fury of the brothers.
There is a twist in the story when Mallika Sherawat, who claims to be Rajiv’s fiancée, shows up on the scene.

Katrina is a Kashmiri-Brit fusion as his father was Indian and mom was English. Katrina was born on July 16th 1983 in Hong Kong; her family lived for a while in Hawaii and the moved to London. Katrina has seven other siblings and all sisters. Katrina started modeling when she was fourteen and her first shoot was for a jewellery brand. Katrina continued modeling in London and was approached by Kaizad Gustad for his film ‘Boom’; after which the model decided to move to Mumbai.
Katrina walked the ramp in India for some topnotch designers and decided to permanently live in Mumbai and pursue a career as an actress. Katrina started working with Ace photographer Atul Kasbekar and was also on the cover of ‘Cosmopolitan’ magazine.
Katrina had to struggle to make her way in Bollywood as she had the linguistic short coming and Producers were hesitant to cast her, so the actress started taking Hindi lessons and also started learning Kathak. In 2004, Katrina did a Telugu movie opposite South Superstar Venkatesh titled ‘Malliswari’. Katrina made news when she started dating actor Salman Khan who also launched her in mainstream cinema in the movie titled ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya’. The movie became a superhit and Katrina finally made an impact.
Katrina is the brand ambassador for ‘Lakme’, ‘Silk-n-Shine’ and International brand ‘Veet’ in India. Katrina has impressed the directors and has some big projects in her pipeline- Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome’, David Dhawan’s ‘Partner’, Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey London’, and Anil Sharma’s ‘Apne’. With such great projects in Katrina’s kitty, future sure looks promising for this pretty actress.
